Green Trail<\/h3>\n

Trail length 6.5 km and duration 1 hour and 45 minutes of medium difficulty<\/h4>\n

Can also be done by running or mountain biking, lasting about 45 minutes. Mixed terrain: asphalt, gravel and a small section of dirt track.<\/p>\n

Directions:<\/strong>
\nStart from the centre of Tabiano, in Piazza Verdi and, at the roundabout, take the road towards Salsomaggiore. After about 600 metres, you take a left downhill road near the former Hotel Panoramik. Continue for about 500 metres and, at the fork, turn left uphill. After 700 metres, take a gravel road to the left, slightly uphill; after another 600 metres, you come out on the tarmac road which leads from Tabiano Bagni to Tabiano Castello, at km 2.4. Turn right and, after 300 metres, take a gravel road to the left, which runs alongside the wells of the spa. The last stretch on an uphill path leads near the church of Tabiano Castello. Back on the paved road, you pass in front of the Castle (km 3.6) and the village of Tabiano. After a descent of 300 metres, keep to the left, joining the tarmac road. Having reached a shrine(km 4.6), turn left again onto a gravel road downhill that, in 1.6 km, takes you back in front of the Ducale Hotel and then to the avenue for Piazza Verdi (km 6.5). The route is easy to follow in both directions. There is a panorama from above the village of Tabiano, the surrounding hills and the plain. The route takes you through the village of Tabiano Castello.<\/p>\n

Altitude:<\/strong>
\nStart slightly uphill, coming out of the town of Tabiano for 600 metres and then, after the left fork, downhill for 500 metres; uphill, at times demanding, for 1.6 km and then a varied route for another 900 metres, until the entrance to the castle at km 3.6. After that, it is all downhill until the return to the village. A medium route, suitable for walkers who are a little hill trained and for short outings for runners and bikers.<\/p>\n
